The path here

How I got here, why I’m doing this.

I started in classic e-business consulting in the early 2000s, working with clients across industries on what we then called digital transformation, long before “digital” had a consistent meaning. That apprenticeship in structured advisory work shaped how I still operate today: rigorous discovery, sharp framing, visible deliverables.

Most of the past 15+ years I worked in-house, but the role was anything but conventional. At Bayer and later at Lundbeck I held leadership positions designed to be entrepreneurial: building new capabilities from scratch, leading internal advisory teams, and owning transformation programs end-to-end. The day-to-day combined consulting structure with operating accountability, and that combination is, in my experience, where most of the genuinely useful work happens.

Why I do this

I keep coming back to the same observation — that the gap between what AI promises and what most organizations actually deliver is not a technology gap, it is an organizational one. Strategy decks don’t survive contact with reality. Pilots don’t scale because the operating model never adapted. Frameworks gather dust because nobody mapped them onto the actual workflows. My work is to close that gap, dimension by dimension.
